The U-Boat (Unterseeboot or Undersea Boat) is the name of the world's first fully functional submarine designed and developed by Germany in the late 19th Century.
History[]
The U-Boat was originally designed back in 1850 by Wilhelm Bauer; however was developed by the Schweffel & Howaldt in the Schelswig-Holstein capital of Kiel for the Imperial German Navy.
World War 1[]
By World War 1; Germany had 29 U-Boats that they used to destroy several British naval and merchant vessels. Eventually though; the U-Boat attacked merchant vessels and that caused the United States Armed Forces to enter the war, despite them being a neutral party in the early years of the war.
World War 2[]
By World War 2; the Nazis utilized the U-Boat in major battles of the war; which attacked various battleships and cruisers of the Allies.
Operation: Resurrection[]
During Operation: Resurrection; the SS Paranormal Division and the SS Special Projects Division were known to also use these to transport important people to their desired location.
